NaachiChat is a product of Naachi Research and Innovation Foundation, based in Coimbatore. It began in 2023 as a research project into a simple, overlooked problem: the risk people face when their phone number is shared without their control. That research, grounded in a published white paper, grew into a working product through careful validation and testing over a long period, with early development shaped at Durham University in the United Kingdom. The result is a verified, invite-only messaging app where real identities are confirmed, numbers stay hidden, and people connect only by consent.
